Toffee Apple Cake

Source: Stuff 

Size: 20 cm square 

Modifications to recipe:
* Didn't use apple crisps, raisins or walnuts
* Substituted canola oil for grapeseed
* ExiledinPN made his own toffee sauce
* Bake time 40min

Taste:
* Well received by those who tried it. Despite the name there were no crunchy bits so risk of tooth breakages was low. The cake was moist with a good spice flavour. The cream cheese frosting was almost pure cream cheese, but that helped offset the sweetness of the toffee sauce.

Conclusion:
* Would eat again. Walnuts would make a nice addition for those that like them.
